Svenja Deininger

DESCRIPTION

Svenja Deininger is an Austrian painter based in Vienna. Her practice involves an improvisational process of painting, revising, and repainting, resulting in abstract compositions of layered planes, subtle textures, and opaque colors. Her works play with the viewer's perception of space and time, often denying evidence of brushstrokes to focus on the atmospheric quality of the surface.
