Philippe Fangeaux is a French painter based in Sète. A graduate of the Marseille Art School and a former resident at the Villa Medici in Rome (1997–1998), he has served as a teacher at the École supérieure d’art et de design des Pyrénées for over two decades. His work focuses on complex, non-narrative pictorial ecosystems that use distorted perspectives and elements from everyday life to challenge the viewer's visual logic.
