DESCRIPTION
Chloé Vanderstraeten is a French artist born in 1996 and based in Paris. She graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2021. Her work explores the sculptural and tactile dimensions of drawing, often utilizing complex techniques of folding, cutting, and paving paper to create large-scale installations. Drawing inspiration from 19th-century medical treatises and scientific iconography, she investigates the aesthetic heritage of the body and biological structures. She was awarded the Bourse Émergence ADIAF in 2025.
