Josèfa Ntjam is a French artist born in Metz who blends science fiction, African mythology, and political history into complex 'cosmogonies'. Her work spans digital photomontage, biomorphic sculpture, and immersive video installations, often drawing from Cameroonian independence struggles and decolonial narratives. She explores themes of fluidity, Black futurity, and the fragmentation of memory, frequently incorporating soundtracks that reference jazz and techno culture.
