Jean-Pierre Raynaud is a major figure in French contemporary art, best known for his obsession with white ceramic tiles with black grout. His most significant work was 'La Maison' in La Celle-Saint-Cloud, a house he systematically tiled over 24 years before eventually demolishing it. He is also recognized for his frequent use of flowerpots and clinical imagery.
