Tommy Smits is a Dutch artist born in Den Bosch and based in The Hague. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) in 2017, he is known for creating 'Concretography,' a process of fossilizing photographs in concrete. His work explores themes of archaeology and collective memory, treating photographs as artifacts that might be found or misread in the future.
