Erik Dietman was a Swedish sculptor and painter who spent most of his career in France. His work is characterized by a playful and iconoclastic approach, frequently employing linguistic puns and a wide range of materials. Associated with Fluxus and Nouveau Réalisme, he referred to himself as a 'sculptor classicus' and created works that bridge the gap between realism and the absurd.
