Epheas Maposa is a Zimbabwean painter born in Harare. A self-taught artist from a young age, he joined the Village Unhu collective in 2013. His work consists of dreamlike, surreal canvases that use anthropomorphic figures and vibrant colors to navigate social and political narratives within Zimbabwe. He has exhibited at various international art fairs and won the Emerging Painting Invitations Pan-African art prize in 2019.
