Gérard Drouillet (1946–2011) was a prominent French ceramicist and painter born in Marseille. He studied at the Beaux-Arts in Aix-en-Provence and lived much of his life in the village of Eygalières. His work is characterized by vibrant colors and symbolic, mythological figures, often bridging the gap between two-dimensional painting and three-dimensional ceramic forms. He is recognized as a significant figure in contemporary French ceramics.
