Bernar Venet is a renowned French conceptual artist best known for his monumental steel sculptures that explore mathematical and scientific concepts. Born in 1941 in Château-Arnoux-Saint-Auban, he moved to New York in 1966, where he became a key figure in the conceptual art movement. He is most famous for his large-scale public works featuring 'Arcs', 'Angles', and 'Indeterminate Lines'. In 2016, Venet received the International Sculpture Center's Lifetime Achievement Award.
