Kacem Noua

DESCRIPTION

Kacem Noua is an Algerian-born painter who lives and works in Lyon, France. A graduate of the École des Beaux-Arts de Lyon, he is recognized for his abstract works that investigate the materiality of paint and the creation of "invented" volumes. His practice involves deconstructing organic forms and reconstructing them with a focus on ornamental patterns and optical depth. He also teaches at the École Supérieure d'Art de l'Agglomération d'Annecy.
