Majd Abdel Hamid is a visual artist whose practice is centered around the slow, repetitive gesture of embroidery as a form of resistance and archiving. Born in Damascus and based between Beirut and Paris, he creates small-scale, often abstract works that he describes as 'sculptures in time.' His work explores themes of national identity, trauma, and the political dimensions of handmade craft in the digital age.
