DESCRIPTION

Benjamin Vautier, known simply as Ben, was a central figure of the Fluxus movement. Born in Naples and based in Nice, he became world-famous for his "écritures"—handwritten slogans on monochrome backgrounds that challenge the boundaries between art and life. He passed away in June 2024.
