Spanish · b. 1881
Painting
Pablo Picasso was a Spanish artist whose radical creativity transformed the course of modern art. Co-founder of Cubism, he constantly reinvented his visual language across painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking and ceramics. From fractured Cubist forms to classical figures, surreal imagery and expressive late works, his art challenged conventions and profoundly influenced generations of artists.
