Arnaud Maguet's work questions the foundations of 1950s–1970s subcultures, intersecting music (rock 'n' roll, punk, jazz) with experimental cinema and underground literature. He is a professor at Villa Arson in Nice and founded the music label Les Disques en Rotin Réunis.
