DESCRIPTION
Self-taught artist Aïcha Khorchid creates large-format paintings inspired by her biography as a political refugee. Her work transforms domestic objects and figures into symbols of memory and resilience. Based in Mallorca, she found her artistic voice in 2020 through a process of confronting personal trauma on canvas.
