Born in Tirana and based in Milan, Iva Lulashi explores the intersections of politics and personal freedom. Her paintings often draw from the visual culture of communist Albania and archival films, blending propaganda imagery with erotic themes to critique societal control. She represented Albania at the 60th Venice Biennale in 2024.
