Mamali Shafahi was born in Iran in 1982 and is based between Paris, Tehran, and Amsterdam. He is a filmmaker and video installation artist whose work explores the impact of technology and social media on contemporary life and art. His projects often involve virtual reality, immersive environments, and mixed-media installations. He has exhibited at the Palais de Tokyo and represented Zimbabwe's Pavilion collaborators at the Venice Biennale.
