Jaasir Linger is a research-based artist with Surinamese roots based in Rotterdam. His practice explores the Afro-Surinamese religion Winti, colonial history, and cultural heritage. He translates his investigative work into art installations, films, and photography to provide counter-narratives to colonial imagery.
