Marije de Wit is a Rotterdam-based artist whose work explores the dynamics of perception and meaning-making. Transitioning from sculpture to photography, she uses still-life-like photos of studio situations to claim space for subjectivity and ambiguity, protesting against the dominance of quantifiability and objectivity in contemporary life.
