Lukas Quietzsch is a Berlin-based artist whose practice negotiates the visual codes and conditionalities of painting. His process involves adding and subsequently washing away layers of gouache to create transfigured images that facilitate associative interpretations. He received his MFA from Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee in 2013.
