Susan Hiller (1940–2019) was an influential conceptual artist known for her innovative use of audio and visual technology to explore cultural artifacts and phenomena such as paranormal beliefs and extinct languages. Her 2026 retrospective 'Bad Dreams' at KW Berlin presents audiovisual works and sculptures made from internet imagery and found objects.
