DESCRIPTION
Sonya Schönberger's artistic practice is marked by an examination of biographical ruptures caused by political and social upheaval. Based in Berlin, she initiates long-term video archives and uses narrative interviews as primary sources. She is an Archive Fellow of Künstlerhaus Bethanien and has received numerous grants, including from Villa Aurora in Los Angeles.
