DESCRIPTION
Martin Toloku is a Ghanaian multidisciplinary artist whose practice has evolved from traditional wood carving to installations and performances. Fascinated by the materiality of decay, he collects decaying wood to recreate conceptual compositions of life and death. He is an alumnus of the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam.
