DESCRIPTION
Melanie Ubaldo was born in the Philippines and raised in Iceland. Her practice explores intersectional identity and unbelonging through autobiographical narratives addressing racism and prejudice. She is a co-founder of Lucky 3, a collective of Icelandic artists of Filipino descent, and her works have been acquired by the National Gallery of Iceland.
