Iñaki Bonillas is a Mexican conceptual artist whose practice investigates the materiality and semiotics of photography. Much of his work is based on the photographic archive of his grandfather, J.R. Plaza, which he uses to explore archival habits, memory, and the creation of identity through imagery.
