Hreinn Friðfinnsson was a pioneering Icelandic conceptual artist known for his lyrical and poetic use of everyday objects. A founding member of the SÚM collective, his work often explored themes of time, narrative, and perception through subtle interventions, photography, and sculpture. He lived and worked in Amsterdam from 1971 until his death in 2024.
