DESCRIPTION
Petrit Halilaj's work is rooted in the personal and collective history of Kosovo. He creates ambitious spatial installations that transpose memories, relationships, and places into sculptural forms, often investigating identity and the deconstruction of narrative. He represented Kosovo in its first appearance at the Venice Biennale in 2013.
