Monia Ben Hamouda is a visual artist whose work is deeply connected to her family heritage and the psychological universe of her ancestors. Born to an Islamic calligrapher, she uses materials like spices, powders, and laser-cut steel to create works that navigate between traditional religious symbolism and contemporary abstraction. Her practice involves a shamanic process of exorcising generational expectations.
