Akihiro Higuchi

DESCRIPTION

Akihiro Higuchi creates sculptures that blend traditional Japanese craftsmanship with contemporary themes, often using wood, urethane foam, and insect specimens. His 'Oil on a Beetle' series features intricate patterns painted directly onto insect surfaces, reflecting on the human tendency to anthropomorphize nature.
