Damien Ajavon is a non-binary textile artist born in Paris with Senegalese and Togolese roots. Their work explores the tactile manipulation of fibers, combining traditional methods like weaving, knitting, and knotting with 3D technologies. They are the ninth resident of the Fund for Young Design at the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg, where they engage with the collection to develop new works exploring identity and heritage.
