Matheus Rocha Pitta is a Berlin-based artist who investigates the forms and perceptions of gestures. His practice involves de-contextualizing everyday images and objects to reveal political and historical dimensions. He has participated in major biennials in São Paulo and Taipei and has held solo exhibitions at Kunstverein Hamburg and elsewhere.
