Lutz Driessen

DESCRIPTION

Lutz Driessen is a Cologne-based artist whose paintings and drawings engage with the potential of pictorial space. His work recalibrates modernism with a humanist-cartoonesque touch, often featuring fragmented figures in Romanesque settings and exploring the movement and technical limits of the picture plane.
