DESCRIPTION
Pia Stadtbäumer is known for her realistic, figurative sculptures. Her works are often created by pouring wax or plastic into plaster molds, and she frequently uses photographs as models for her figures. She entered the Düsseldorf Academy of Fine Arts in 1981.
