Ewa Partum is a pioneer of conceptual and feminist art in Europe. Her work includes performances, visual poetry, experimental films, and linguistic actions in public space. Since the late 1960s, she has explored the structures of artistic language and the communist public sphere. She has lived and worked in Berlin since 1983.
