Sculpture, Trompe-l'oeil
Jörg Rode creates sculptures that are re-enactments of everyday situations and cultural ideas. He uses ceramic and wood to recreate objects like styrofoam plates or lemons, definition a space of 'aesthetic indifference' where mundane objects gain poetic attention. He lives and works in Hamburg and Berlin.
