Jan Köchermann is a sculptor and installation artist who focuses on themes of thresholds and transitions—between inside and outside, private and public, and science and fiction. He creates experiential spaces, including large-scale traversable sculptures like shafts and tunnels, as well as detailed models and film projections. He lives and works in Hamburg.
