Kirstin Arndt works with simple, industrially manufactured materials such as roof battens, Euro pallets, and truck tarpaulins to explore the relationship between line, surface, and space. Her minimalist works often investigate the transition between two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms. She studied at the Karlsruhe Art Academy and has been a professor at Mainz University of Applied Sciences since 2006.
