Fabio Mauri (1926–2009) was a master of the Italian avant-garde. His diverse practice across five decades critically examined the power of ideology and language, particularly in the context of Fascism and the Holocaust. He founded the magazine 'Il Setaccio' with his childhood friend Pier Paolo Pasolini.
