Born in Bad Mergentheim, Edith Saldanha is a Berlin-based actor and filmmaker who studied at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. They were a permanent ensemble member at the Münchner Kammerspiele from 2020 to 2024 and joined the Schauspielhaus Zürich for the 2025/26 season. Saldanha's artistic practice explores institutional violence and its impact on the body, notably in the video installation 'Skin Bodies' exhibited at Kunstraum München.
