DESCRIPTION

Shu Lea Cheang is a pioneer of net art and a media activist whose work investigates the intersections of technology, gender, and political systems. She is well known for 'Brandon' (1998-1999), the first web-based work commissioned by the Guggenheim Museum, and represented Taiwan at the 2019 Venice Biennale.
