Katharina Stangler

Born in König Wusterhausen, Katharina Stangler graduated from the Düsseldorf Art Academy. She developed a unique technique of applying pure pigments to wet cotton fabric, allowing the material and water to dictate the final 'blooming' forms of the painting.
