Bruno Gironcoli was an influential Austrian sculptor known for his large-scale, futuristic sculptures that combine archetypal forms with industrial materials. He was the head of the School of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and represented Austria at the 2003 Venice Biennale.
