Max Brand was born in Würzburg, Germany. He studied at the HfG Offenbach and the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main under Michael Krebber. His artistic practice involves creating colorful, frenzied canvases using a diverse range of media such as spray paint, chalk, marker, and oil, often drawing from influences ranging from German Expressionism to Japanese anime.
