DESCRIPTION
Walter Schembs is a German sculptor whose work focuses on the human figure. Originally trained as a cabinet maker, he began creating wood sculptures in 1985 and later expanded into bronze. His works are characterized by coarse, expressive surfaces that retain the texture of the original wood. Many of his sculptures are featured in public spaces across Europe.
