DESCRIPTION
Born in Dresden, Rhea Standke explores floral micro- and macrocosms through abstract formations. Her work transforms organic structures into timeless, ecstatic spaces using multilayered color applications and light-dark contrasts. She studied at the academies in Karlsruhe, Vienna, and Düsseldorf under Herbert Brandl and was awarded the EADS Art Prize in 2002.
