Rita Sala Treig is a visual artist based in Barcelona whose practice explores the human impulse to assign meaning to inhabited space. Her paintings often navigate between figure and ground, blurring the lines of abstraction to create pictorial narratives reflecting on memory and emotion. In addition to her artistic practice, she co-manages the independent cultural space La Butxaca Màgica.
