Damaris Pan

DESCRIPTION

Damaris Pan is a Basque artist and professor at the University of the Basque Country. Her painting practice is characterized by a rigorous inquiry into the plastic possibilities of the medium, often exploring the tension between figuration and abstraction. Her works are defined by a peculiar language of shapes, densities, and color palettes that prioritize the autonomy of the pictorial object over narrative constraints.
