David Schnell is known for his large-scale paintings of architectural and natural landscapes. His style combines hyper-realistic detail with abstract, kaleidoscopic perspectives. A member of the New Leipzig School, he studied at the Leipzig Academy of Visual Arts under Arno Rink.
