Beatriz Eugenia Díaz is a pioneer of sound art in Colombia, known for her minimalist installations that combine mathematical systems with verbal language and acoustic objects. Her work often utilizes the number seven as an organizing principle to activate spaces and explore the interrelations of nature and memory. She is a professor at the University of the Andes in Bogotá.
